This will probably be the latest skinned Journal I'll write for a long time, my premium membership is expiring in 5 days. I'd like to thank Master-Photo again for giving it!
Why this title you might wonder? To start with a couple of weeks ago I had to completely reinstall my PC, because of a program screwing up my Windows (only thing it still did was booting, and where logon was supposed I got bluescreen and reboot). But since I have all my data on other discs rather than C: it was no problem to format it and reinstall. If all only stopped there... Friday one week ago I wanted to ride back home, when the right handle bar of my steer broke off
So that was a trip to the bicycle store to get it repaired rather than straight home and celebrating weekend...
But oh no, it didn't stop there, last Thursday I was riding home, overtaking on a lady stopping for her house, when I got hit by a scooter, and I fell. Don't worry no serious injury, a little scratch on my knee, that's all. But it was another trip to the bicycle store to get it repaired again (only this time that guy had to pay, was his fault that he hit me).
They say bad things happy three times? Make that a four... My PC was already acting a little wierd for the past few days, but I didn't really pay attention to it. Untill today, when Rainmeter and CAD were no longer launching. I thought it would just be a manual start and get it over with. But no, it said location not found. Like WTF?! So I tried reboot, which thought me that the MFT (Master File Table) of my E: drive has been damaged. Looking for a couple of tools to repair it, came to the conclusion that both the MFT aswell as the MFT Mirror are screwed... I was able to get access to F: again, and to save the data on it (ALL my pictures), now getting them back from E: is still a struggle. I found my data to be still intact, but the software wants me to get a $79 license, which I refuse to pay. So hopefully the tool I got now will get it done.
On the good side, I started making some digital art again rather than only the Photography you've seen lately.
